Sweet 16

 On July 27th, 2014 Asha Holland went to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her bestfriend Kayla Dennis and Asha's mother, Natasha Washinton for Asha's 16th birthday. As soon as they got there they checked into the Landmark Hotel. The weather was nice so Asha got to wear her favorite outfit, a yarn crop top and floral shorts. The most exciting part was going to a place called Karma that night. Asha and Kayla saw some friends from school and met new people. On the balcony of Karma they got to look out and see the colorful skywheel and the beautiful beach. It was one of the best nights of their life. The next day they went shopping on the boardwalk of Myrtle Beach and bought clothes and other souvenirs to take back home. When they finished shopping they swam in the ocean for the rest of the day and half the night. They only stayed for the weekend but to them it felt like a week. Asha and Kayla also met a girl named Kelsey that longboarded and she taught them how to ride. Asha's mom wasn't with Asha and Kayla most of the time but she had fun and met new people too. They all wish they could relive the trip. Asha loves the beach and it was one of the most memorable birthdays she's ever had.
